Visitor Policy
Visitor Policy (as of March 4, 2022)
(This does not apply to hospital/clinic patient visitors or clinical care locations. This is for visitors to non-clinical areas only. Additional policies such as job shadowing and academic visitor remain in place and are available in Compliance 360.)
Masks are required for all visitors. It is strongly recommended that all visitors have received vaccination against COVID-19. Visitors should not come to campus if they have any of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, chills, new onset muscle ache, not explained by exercise or activity, loss of taste or smell, or fever greater than 100.4 degrees in the last 24 hours. Visitors should also not come to campus if they should be in quarantine.
Visitors should have a meeting/appointment scheduled with a UAMS employee or department. Visitors should coordinate directions and entry locations with the employee/department to be visited.
Visitors should receive instructions regarding:
- Where to arrive and park
- Where to enter the building
- Visitors should not come to campus if they have any of the following: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, chills, new onset muscle ache, not explained by exercise or activity, loss of taste or smell, or fever greater than 100.4 degrees in the last 24 hours.
